I recently had the pleasure of working with Jon both to sell my town house and purchase a new property. He was extremely knowledgeable about the market – both trends and specific properties in the area. He was also down to earth, extremely responsive, and truly had my family’s best interests at heart.
Jon gave us excellent advice about what we needed to do in order to sell our house – small repairs/cosmetic issues/staging, and just as importantly had a good sense about what would not be necessary to sink more money into. He also let us know when he thought would be the best time to put our house on the market, as well as a good price to sell in the current market. As a result, we sold our house at the first open house.
As a result of the quick sale, we were left scrambling a little, as we didn’t realize things would happen so quickly. Jon was always available for showings – and reshowings, and was quick to point out properties that we may have overlooked. He had a good sense of what we wanted, and did a great job in steering us in the right direction.
Jon’s years of experience also helped when viewing properties, because he knew what to look for. While we would be wooed by the finished basement, he would notice the smell of mildew, or water stains, or other helpful little details that you often overlook when you are trying to fall in love with a house. His comments were to make sure we knew what we were getting into, as opposed to talking us in or out of a purchase.
We ultimately ended up with a house that we absolutely love, in a neighborhood perfect for our family. Jon saw the process through to the end, and even beyond. Even now, a few months after the closing, he checked in to make sure we were happy. I would truly recommend him to anyone in the metrowest area.
